Why do schools need to get involved in Climate Action?

There are many benefits for schools to be engaged in Climate Action: 

• DfE sustainability and climate change strategy aims to empower pupils and those working in education to fight climate change both inside and outside the classroom. 
• Curriculum development in Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE), Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC), British Values, Citizenship, Geography and Science. 
• Links through Ofsted's inspection framework. 
• Overall financial reduction in running costs.   
• Being part of a world change.
