DSL Cluster Network Group Information
DSL Cluster Groups are where DSLs, DDSL's and anyone from a schools wider safeguarding team come together to share ideas and learning. There are updates provided from the team on local and national guidance/resources.
There are also usually 2-3 key speakers arranged that attend to present on safeguarding topics or local services, for example, past speakers have included:
- Hillingdon Stronger Families Hub Manager
- Axis Project Lead.
- Head of Youth Gambling and Gaming Association (YGAM).
- Domestic Abuse Lead, Laura Clarke
- Prevent Lead.
- Safer Schools Police Chief.
- The Centre of Expertise on child sexual abuse.
The meetings will take place mostly vis MS Teams but there will be opportunities for face-to-face group meetings twice over the academic year. Schools must sign up so agendas can be shared beforehand. You can sign up here: DSL Training and Events Calendar page.
Schools are welcome to use the forum to present an issue/topic for discussion should they wish. If you are not currently receiving invites for the clusters and would like to or want to know more, please contact atamber@hillingdon.gov.uk
