School Attendance Officers Network Meeting

WEDNESDAY 15TH JANUARY 2020
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTRE -   9.00am to 12.30pm
 
I am pleased to announce we have begun planning for our next Attendance Officers Network Meeting. Further details will be shared directly with schools in the next few weeks as we finalise the agenda and speakers.
 
Tea / Coffee and biscuits will be provided.
 
Heads, Attendance Leads and Attendance Officers are all welcome.  The event is a good opportunity for us all to network, share good practices and learn from each other. New Attendance Leads / Officers in schools will benefit especially, however, we always find the knowledge shared by our more experienced colleagues from the schools is really helpful to all.
 
It also provides an opportunity for the Participation Team to share any new information and respond to questions that schools may have about raising attendance.
 
I would be grateful if you are able to release an appropriate member of staff for the morning so that they can attend and take advantage of this learning opportunity.
