SWITCH Year 6 to Year 7 Transition Support - Online Group Proposal

Transition Support Programmes (Targeted Programmes- Adolescent Development Services) is proposing to deliver online group work support sessions to a number of targeted young people who were participating on the SWITCH Year 6 to Year 7 15-month Transition Support Programme, prior to lockdown. The programmes were being delivered at Dr Triplett's Primary, Cowley St Lawrence Primary, West Drayton Academy, Grange Park Junior, Minet Junior and Laurel Lane Primary. As a result of these young people being unable to continue their involvement in the programme whilst they are at home and not attending school this could be exacerbating issues that they were initially presenting with, such as low self-esteem and confidence, anxiety and social isolation.
