The Virtual School - Live Webinar with Dr Karen Treisman
The Virtual School are hosting a live webinar with clinical psychologist Dr Karen Treisman on 15th July based on grief and loss in the context of the pandemic.

This introduction workshop shines a spotlight on the area of grief and loss, particularly for those children who have experienced a bereavement. We will discuss some of the common feelings, behaviours, and sensations we might see in children who have experienced a death; and explore some key ways of being to support children, as well as some information about things to say and not to say to them.

Karen has extensive experience in the areas of trauma, parenting, adversity (ACE's) and attachment, and works clinically using a range of therapeutic approaches with families, systems, and children in or on the edge of care, unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people, and adopted children.
