FfT Key Stage 4 Update

Please see the following information from the FfT with regards to the collection of Key Stage 4 data.

COPY OF EMAIL SENT TO ASPIRE SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Following on from May's successful KS4 moderation service in which 2,000 schools took part, we are pleased to announce details of our main 2020 Results Service.

As you will be well aware, this year's FFT Results Service will be significantly more important than in previous years as the DfE and Ofsted will not be providing schools with any analysis of performance at KS4 and KS5.

In addition to our usual self evaluation service, this year we will also be supporting schools by providing a Year 7 transition service using GL's CAT4 tests and KS2 Teacher Assessments to produce GCSE estimates for Year 7 pupils.

You'll find further details about all the services in this email.

Next steps

·  Please read this email for full details of all our 2020 results services

·  We'll also send out final details in August including examples of all the excel templates we'll be using to collect your data

·  We'll be running interactive webinars in August to ensure that your school is ready for the new data submissions.

IMPORTANT - in order to take part in any of these services, you will need to ensure that you have Data Exchange installed. Data Exchange links Aspire to your school MIS and ensures that your pupils are up to date. We recommend that you set up Data Exchange as soon as possible and PRIOR to the start of results services.

Check if your school has installed Aspire Data Exchange by logging in to the FFT Aspire homepage.

I hope that your school will be able participate in all the free services available to you.

Finally, can I take this opportunity to wish you a safe and relaxing summer break after what has been an incredibly challenging and difficult few months for schools.

Yours sincerely

Paul Charman
Managing Director, FFT
