SEND Advisory Service (SAS)

The SEND Advisory Service (SAS) offers support to educational settings working with children and young people with SEND. We are made up of three teams:

  • The Early Years Team supports PVIs, nurseries and childminders;
  • The Schools Team supports primary and secondary schools, and post-16 settings.
  • The Sensory Team supports children and young people with visual, hearing and multi-sensory support.

Education settings can refer into our services via the Establishment Portal. Guidance on how to make a referral can be found here:SAS Referral Guidance (PDF, 474 KB)

More information on education support and funding can be found here: https://www.hillingdon.gov.uk/education-support
