Ilakkiya Thavarasa

As a child missing education officer my main role is to investigate and locate children missing education. My previous experience working as a Youth Hub Work Coach has provided me with valuable insights into the importance of early intervention and robust educational support as the key to prospective futures for our communities' youth. Supporting young adults with accessing education and upskilling them for employment opportunities has demonstrated the need for greater intervention and support at an early stage. As such it has inspired me to continue pursuing opportunities in education to better serve the community.
