LA Moderators - Primary Assessment and Moderation
Thank you to our Hillingdon KS1 and KS2 teachers who applied to be part of our LA Moderation pool. The Council received a high number of applications this year and used the STA criteria to select qualified teachers with the appropriate experience required to deliver this programme. After three rounds of national STA training and testing, we now have our confirmed pool of 35 LA Moderators.
Schools can access moderation training material to share with all Year 2 and Year 6 teachers through LEAP: Statutory Primary Assessment and Moderation - Leap (hillingdon.gov.uk)
Moderation visits will take place during June 2023 and selected schools will be notified on or after Friday 12th May 2023 (earliest date authorised by the STA). If you have any Primary Assessment and Moderation queries please contact the team at schoolimprovementadmin@hillingdon.gov.uk
Winter Wellness - please share with staff, parents and carers
We are resending the Winter Wellness Directory and Warm Centre Locations across Hillingdon and ask that this is shared with all your staff members, parents and carers. This will help to ensure that support is promoted widely for our vulnerable families.
