Brooke Kidd
Attendance Support Officer
Education is a key steppingstone that enables us to thrive in society and fundamentally creates the foundation for children and young people to become, independent, free thinking, resilient, inspired and creative in life. All of which has ignited my passion in helping children and young people reach their full potential whether it be personally or academically. As a firm believer of this I hold a bachelor's degree in Education Studies which has facilitated my drive and focus towards empowering young people in education.
I have over nine years' experience in a variety of positions supporting children and families, through a range of administrative roles and front-line working positions. I worked directly with young people and their families to overcome challenges and barriers to learning, provide support for those with mental health and wellbeing needs, as well as implement strategies to become independent beings. I have recently started working with Hillingdon Council as an Attendance Support Officer with the Attendance Support Team. Like my previous roles I look forward to working alongside, supporting and engaging with schools, families and youth to create positive outcomes when it comes to accessing education.
