Educational Psychology Service
Our Team
Hillingdon Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is a team of skilled professionals trained in education and psychology at masters or doctorate level. The London Borough of Hillingdon will only employ educational psychologists who are fully qualified and registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC). In order to retain this registration, it is compulsory that continuing professional development (CPD) is kept up-to-date.
The EPS consists of a Principal EP, Senior EPs and main grade EPs with a wide range of experiences and special interests. The EPS is fortunate to also feature Trainee EPs and Assistant EPs who are an integral part of the team. Our Trainee and Assistant Psychologists, themselves supervised by qualified EPs, help to ensure up to date knowledge and insight in the field of educational psychology is at the forefront of service development and the support offered to our communities. Both trainee and assistant psychologists help to conduct innovative research in Hillingdon, and ensure that regular service-user feedback is gathered on the core offer.

To access Hillingdon EPS outside of an agreed statutory assessment, your school or setting can purchase time through the traded offer; our 'One Page EPS Traded Outline' has all of the relevant details and information on how to access this support.
Parent or Carer:
If you feel that your child would benefit from involvement with an educational psychologist, talk to the special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) at their schoolor pre-school.
