Caitriona Barrett

I have worked for the London Borough of Hillingdon since 2020 and joined the School Placement and Admissions Team in April 2022. Since working in the team, I have taken a lead in overseeing secondary allocations. Within this role I am responsible for administering applications and offering school places to secondary school age children in accordance with the Council's published admissions policy, School Admissions Code and legislative requirements ensuring that all statutory age children have access to education.  

During my time in this team, I have developed strong relationships with schools, internal staff and neighbouring authorities. Being able to deliver a fair and effective service through the allocation of school places is extremely important to me.

I am passionate about supporting our vulnerable children so that they and their families have a positive experience of the school admissions procedure
