RSE: Parent/Carer Remote Consultation During School Closure

Schools from our Primary, Secondary, and the Special sectors have worked together to develop a consistent consultation and implementation approach to meeting the updated RSE requirements, in order to develop a strategic approach to managing community tensions.

Due to the national response to COVID-19, schools may not have been able to consult with parents. As the new curriculum will be mandatory from September 2020, colleagues are encouraged to refer to the template options available in the RSE toolkit to complete their consultations remotely.                                                                                  

You will also be able to access model policies, presentations and guidance, which you can download and adapt to meet the needs of your school, whilst maintaining boroughwide consistency.
