Together we can do music

The Hillingdon Music Hub has expanded their offer to allow all pupils in year 4 and above access to instrumental and vocal lessons through either in school or online lessons. Parents can register their interest at www.hillingdon.gov.uk/startmusic.

Whole Class Music lessons are restarting this term and have been adjusted to suit school risk assessments. Schools are able to change instruments to ones that don't require large social distancing or classes can be taught in groups of 15. If schools are not ready for additional visitors we can offer pre-recorded tutorial videos or live lessons via Zoom. We are now providing an instrument per child (except for percussion instruments) instead of a class set which allows children to take instruments home and ensures our offer is Covid secure.

Current government guidance says we can return to schools but we will not return until you are happy for us to do so. If you have any concerns about how music can continue safely in your school please do get in touch.

Small group/individual lessons restart week beginning 28th September. Whole class lessons  can start sooner on request.
