Free Workshop on countering Far Right Extremism
Countering far right extremism - Invite for schools
Currently in Hillingdon the highest percentage of referrals being made to Prevent relate to young people being radicalised into the far right ideology. It's important for all professionals, particularly schools, to be aware of what this means for young people and how we can recognise and support against young people being radicalised in this way.
For this reason we would like to invite you to attend a training session on Thursday 5th November at 3.30pm with Exit UK.
Exit UK is an organisation who aim to support former members of the Far Right and their families and rebuild their lives free from extremism.
Working in partnership with the Mayor Of London, Exit UK have received funding from the Shared Endeavour Fund, allowing them to deliver these training sessions.
Exit UK is unique, with many of those working with Exit being former Far Right members themselves, parents who have had a loved one involved themselves or trained counsellors with expertise in how to engage and support vulnerable individuals.
Exit UK is currently running workshops and training across the UK and their aim is to empower young people and upskill faith leaders, teachers and other frontline professionals to counteract the influence of the far-right and help communities identify the warning signs and prevent radicalisation.
