Christine Mustill

I qualified as a teacher in 1986, gaining my BEd Hons at the Froebel Institute, part of Roehampton University, where I specialised in Early Years education. My first teaching post was in a Westminster primary school where I eventually set up a new Early Years unit and joined the Senior Management Team. I then moved to a school in Lambeth where I stayed for ten years, managing a large Early Years team as well as teaching in the nursery and reception classes.

I joined the team at Hillingdon as an Early Years Advisory Teacher and Children's Centre Teacher in 2004 but became an EYAT full time in 2008. This enabled me to further share my love of Early Years theory and practice and to join my colleagues in providing support, training and advice on teaching and learning for all practitioners working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage and in improving quality outcomes for all EYFS children in the borough.
