Children Missing Education Lead
Without a doubt, schooling and education, in general, are important agents of change. The education, skills, and information acquired in school help to improve livelihoods, enhance our social skills, contribute to social stability, promote child development and drive long-term economic development. Education is a key.
As a Children Missing Education Officer Lead, my main role is to carry out checks to track and identify children missing education and liaison with schools, other boroughs and agencies. I also support the work of the Participation Team to ensure it carries out its responsibilities to the highest possible standards and in accordance with legislation and Hillingdon's CME policies and procedures.
I am a Criminology and Sociology Graduate with more than 3 years' experience working within Children Social Care at Hillingdon Council. Prior to this, I have worked in HR, Recruitment and Customer Service. I have always been passionate about working within Children Social care, and excited to continue my venture into Education services in order to develop my skills and knowledge further and make a difference.
