Alice Jerrom

As a Virtual School Officer, I work to improve the educational outcomes of Hillingdon's Looked After Children and Young People. I am passionate about empowering young people to achieve and work to ensure sufficient support in in place for students to overcome barriers to their learning.  

Prior to joining the Virtual School, I worked as a Student Progression Advisor, where I taught PSHE lessons as well as took on a lead role in supporting Young People to apply for University and Apprenticeships; With this, I established pastoral responsibilities, which is something I enjoyed and found deeply important.  

Advocating for the young people I work with is incredibly rewarding and it brings me so much enjoyment to see individuals grow in confidence and look forward to the possibilities ahead of them.
