Chloe Rock
Project Manager for Children with a Social Worker
As the Project Manager for Children with a Social Worker at Hillingdon Virtual School, I utilise data, feedback from professionals and the voice of the child to inform the current support available for children with a social worker, the training provision available for professionals and cross-council interventions to promote the needs of the cohort.
I hold a master's degree in Children's Psychological Disorders from Cardiff University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Reading. I have previously worked as a Specialist Teaching Assistant in a Specialist School for young people with ASD and/or PMLD. Prior to joining the Virtual School, I was working as Pastoral Lead for Key Stage Three and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead in a Secondary School in Southeast London. During my time at Hillingdon Virtual School, I have also worked as a Virtual School Officer for Children Looked After and Children with a Social Worker. I also enjoy supporting residential and day trips with our young people.
My operational experience working with vulnerable children motivates me within my strategic position to review, adapt and improve the current offer to ensure vulnerable children have access to the necessary support and the best chance of academic success.
