Hillingdon Young People Thrive - 16-25 Covid-19 response webinars
Hillingdon Young People Thrive (HYPT) is offering FREE online wellbeing webinars to 16-25-year old youthliving, working and studying in Hillingdon. This service is commissioned by the Hillingdon NHS to deliver webinars during the Covid-19 pandemic to support young people's emotional health and mental wellbeing.
During these difficult times, this early intervention service will benefit young people who may be struggling in silence with low mood, anxiety disorders and low level mental health problems.
On offer are FREE one-hour webinars, delivered using Zoom, in the following topics:
• Anxiety
• Coping with loss
• Low mood
• Mental health awareness
• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
• Self-care
All webinars are delivered by a qualified mental health practitioner and can be accessed through a smartphone, laptop or tablet. Sessions are completely confidential and anonymous.
Webinars are delivered at set times on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday afternoons: full details can be found here.
We can also deliver virtual sessions directly to groups of young people within the school setting.
Benefits
Young people who attend our webinars gain a better understanding of common mental health problems, learn ways to recognise the causes of poor mental health as well as how to cope with issues that they may face daily.
